Space stations, Trains, Robots, Castles,
and Much more !! Returning for its EIGHTH year, this popular exhibit features displays of hundreds of custom LEGO models, created by members of the NC LEGO Users Group.
On Saturday March 10th and 11th, NCLUG and NCLTC will exhibit
at the 8th annual LEGOPalooza at the Morehead Planetarium in Chapel Hill, North
Carolina. Free (no admission charge.)
From the website: "In past years, the LUG
team has exhibited everything from space stations to castles inspired by
the Harry Potter books. What will the team exhibit this year? You'll
have to come to LEGO-palooza to see!
Visit Morehead to see this free exhibit, created especially for children
4 and older accompanied by their parents or caregivers. LEGO-palooza
only comes once a year, so make your plans now to attend!"

30th Annual St.
Patrick's Day Parade, Moore Square, Downtown Raleigh, NC
Saturday, March 17, 2012, 12:00 pm
Enjoy the parade with Irish dancing, music and festivities continuing
after the parade. (Raleigh St. Patty's Day festivities continue from the
beginning of the parade at 12pm noon, through 10pm).
The 30th Annual Raleigh St. Patrick's Day
Parade will take place on March 17, 2012 in downtown Raleigh. The Parade
starts at noon, heading down Raleigh's famed Fayetteville Street, around the
State House and down Blount Street to end at Moore Square. The parade is the
second largest in the southeast!
When the Parade is over the Wearin' O' the Green Festival begins! The
Festival is held on Moore Square in downtown Raleigh, the end of the Parade
route. There will be live music and dancing, food, drink and fun!
Vendor booths will include Irish Organizations, Irish jewelry and other
Irish goods, food vendors, children's games and activities. Live Irish Music
and lots of fun for the entire family!
