UPDATE: See
James Hill Photography photos from the 2009 Eno River Festival
Editor's note: These photos are great - kudos to lo local
photographer James Hill!
They really capture the feel of the Eno River Festival. We especially
love the photos of the bands (Albannach!) and the children playing in the
river. (I also love the other photography on his main
SmugMug page.)
We look forward to the Eno River Festival every year - it is truly a
highlight of the year for us and our children. |

Cardinal Parking Decks off of Manning Drive. Disability parking

Chapel Hill at the Rosemary/Columbia Lot at 100 E Rosemary St., West
Franklin Lot at 415 W. Franklin Street, the Wallace Parking Deck and smaller
town lots. FOR MORE INFO: www.townofchapelhill.org/july4
Alcohol prohibited - no coolers, outside containers or food items
allowed.2012 Festivities will
include a juggling Uncle Sam stilt walker, contests, and face painting. Live
music will feature: Mick Mixon and the Franklin Street Band at 8pm. The
vocalist for the National Anthem will be Jessica Carter.
***** Note for families with babies and young children:
Since the Chapel Hill fireworks are fired in the stadium, surrounded
entirely by stadium seats, which produce echoes and amplify the firework
booms, they are extremely loud. We found them to be much louder than
any fireworks display we have ever attended (since we previously had
attended open air fireworks displays, not in a stadium). We rarely
editorialize, but we thought we would mention that the stadium fireworks
display may be too loud especially for babies and young children's sensitive
ears.
