First Night Raleigh presented by Artsplosure
Afternoon until Midnight, in downtown Raleigh, NC
Annual family-friendly New Year's celebration held in downtown Raleigh.  Admission "buttons" which participants wear pinned to their coats or hats go on sale over Thanksgiving weekend at over 70 outlets, including Harris Teeter stores in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area.  Over 100 performances at 125 locations.

Typical schedule for First Night Raleigh:

2 - 6pm:  The Children's Celebration
7pm - Evening Performances begin featuring 100 performances in 25 downtown Raleigh venues 
10:30 pm: Main Stage entertainment begins.
